The rules in 20 seconds

01

One pick per round

Back a single team to win each round. That one call is your whole game.

02

Never reuse a team

Each team can be picked only once per pool — plan the season, not just the week. In a league season your used teams reset once at an announced mid-season point.

03

A draw knocks you out

Your team must win outright. Backing a safe 0-0 side is how survivors die.

04

Miss a pick? Auto-pick

Forget, and an unused team is assigned for you so you stay in the game.

05

Picks hidden until lock

Nobody sees anyone's pick until the round locks at the first kickoff.

Last Man Standing — FAQ

What is Last Man Standing?

Last Man Standing is a free survivor football game: each round you pick one team to win. If they win, you go through; if they lose or draw, you're out. You can never pick the same team twice — the last player standing wins the prize.

Is Last Man Standing free to play on Champs FC?

Yes — completely free to enter, with prize-backed pools funded by organisers and sponsors, not entry fees.

Can I reuse a team?

You can pick each team only once per pool, so you have to plan your picks ahead. A league season has more gameweeks than teams, so used teams clear once at an announced mid-season reset and the full list opens up again. Pools are independent, so a team used in one pool is still available in another.

Does a draw count as surviving?

No — your team must win outright in league play. In knockout rounds, advancing (including via extra time or penalties) keeps you alive.

What if everyone gets knocked out in the same round?

Nobody goes out. That round is voided — the teams it used are given back — and the same players carry over into the next round. The game keeps going until one player is left, because there is one winner and one prize per pool.

Can I play with my mates?

Yes. Create a private pool, set your own prize if you like, and share the join link with your group chat.
